Course Description

Students have a unique skillset they bring to blended learning classrooms: They are collaborators, creative thinkers, information users and producers, technologists, problem solvers, and self-directed learners. Teachers are redefining classroom management strategies to maximize development of these skills and minimize disruptions to teaching and learning in a blended learning environment.

Learning objectives

  • Research attributes of a blended learning classroom and discover innovative classroom management tools.
  • Design a classroom management plan appropriate to your unique teaching setting.
  • Create a technology-based lesson plan to implement in your blended classroom.
  • Participate in discussions with other teachers to share thoughts and strategies for enhancing blended classrooms.
