Managing a blended classroom involves multiple elements. Teachers should be careful to organize a flexible and customizable learning space to facilitate blended learning activities for individuals, small groups, large groups, and/or an entire class. Procedures must also be in place to coordinate transitions between each student’s or a group of students’ activities. Teachers must also be mindful of keeping a safe and respectful classroom environment that promotes diversity and creativity.
Throughout this exploration, you will develop a blended classroom management plan based on information you found in your research.
The classroom management plan consists of three parts:
- organizing the blended classroom
- maintaining a blended classroom environment
- sharing collaboration/communication efforts
