Districts and schools interested in providing UTeach Professional Development courses for whole cohorts of teachers can receive more intensive, customized support.
We can begin by examining data (quantitative and qualitative), collaborating with you to identify specific needs and presenting options for how we can help you. Our suggestions may include face-to-face training, online courses, blended support, and/or individual consulting.
In one district, we provided the UTeach Blended Learning course. Teachers completed the online course series, and UTeach Professional Development facilitators conducted face-to-face sessions at the district. Teachers were able to share their work products and ideas in the online courses and then discuss, share, and reflect upon what they learned and how they were implementing the concepts.
