Coaching Support for Districts Implementing Blended Learning

UTeach can partner with your district to support your teachers in fully implementing blended learning in their classrooms. Working as partners to observe teachers in their classroom with a pre-conference/observation/post-conference (POP) cycle will provide your teachers helpful guidance with support in their blended learning journey.

Face-to-face onsite support

A UTeach blended learning coach will work with a campus/district instructional coach (or administrator) to observe blended learning classrooms in person and debrief. While the UTeach coach is onsite, they can provide a blended learning PD session for teachers and PD sessions for coaches and administrators. Onsite visits are typically three to five days.

Prerequisites

  • Campus/district shares proof of need and blended learning alignment and purpose.
  • Blended learning is a priority and being implemented on the campus
  • Some of the teachers have completed the UTeach Foundations of Blended Course
  • Visit of up to three campuses in one district per week.

Synchronous online support

A UTeach blended learning coach will work in 30-minute Zoom sessions with a teacher and their instructional coach to discuss the teacher’s blended learning practices and the support the teacher needs to fully implement blended learning.
