Includes professional development, curriculum, year-round support, and platform access for unlimited Cybersecurity students. Qualifies for reimbursement by TEA.
In this workshop, new Cybersecurity teachers will learn how to create customized learning experiences for students through project-based instruction, leveraging blended learning strategies to ensure student success.
Prerequisite: Any educator from any content background is eligible for this course, no previous cybersecurity or programming experience required.
Objectives
- Familiarize yourself with the comprehensive UTeach Cybersecurity teacher materials and curriculum, often from a student’s perspective
- Explore background cybersecurity content in the context of course activities and projects
- Practice the collaborative, project-based, and blended learning instructional strategies necessary to teach the course successfully
