In this workshop, new Cybersecurity teachers will learn how to create customized learning experiences for students through project-based instruction, leveraging blended learning strategies to ensure student success.

Prerequisite: Any educator from any content background is eligible for this course, no previous cybersecurity or programming experience required.

Objectives

  • Familiarize yourself with the comprehensive UTeach Cybersecurity teacher materials and curriculum, often from a student’s perspective
  • Explore background cybersecurity content in the context of course activities and projects
  • Practice the collaborative, project-based, and blended learning instructional strategies necessary to teach the course successfully
